About The Event

We will gather to dace for Justice for Women and Girls at the Alameda Central, and also in other plazas in the country, right now we have confirmed Querétaro, Torreón, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Puebla, another event in Mexico City on February 15, and we are promoting for Mexico Rise4Justice in every plaza in the Contry, because Access to Justice for women and girls and integral reparation is a priority due to high levels of impunity. We face femicide, missing women and girls, domestic violence, sexual violence, inocents in jails, journalists murdered, and the presence of organized crime, paramilitary groups and oficial law enforcement are a risk for women and girls. We claim our lifes and bodys are not a war prize. We rise for justice to all forms of contemporary forms of slavery, including crimes related to trafficking in women and girls.

CATWLAC

-We work to prevent, protect and assist, and prosecute all forms of violence against women and girls, specially those victims of all forms of contemporary forms of slavery and crimes related to trafficking in persons, like exploitation of others prostitution, and other forms of sexual exploitation, sale of girl brides, sexual slavery, domestic slavery, forced begging, servitude, forced marriages and pregnanciees, and all forms of VAW and discrimination of women and girls. We have representation in 25 countries of the LAC Región, but our Regional HQ are in Mexico City.

About The Organizer

45 years fighting sexual violence against women and girls. Candidate to the Nobel Price in 2007 in the Project 1,000 Women for a Noberl Prize, and received the Abely's Award in 2008 for the Life and Security of Women and Girls victims of Trafficcking and in 2011 received the Gleitsman International Award granted by the Center Kennedy of Harvard University. Regional Director of CATWLAC and Geneeral Coordinator of Popular Defenders.
