About The Event

Lancaster University Runs 10k Against Domestic Violence. The Directing Team of the Lancaster Uni The Vagina Monologues have started a partnership with Lancaster University Student's Union in order to raise awareness and funds for V-Day and Trust House, our chosen local charity, through the involvement of the entire student body. The route is composed of three laps of the Lancaster University campus and people can choose to run, walk it or roll it depending on their ability/motivation! Students can register as Individuals and Teams and can fundraise either through our online donation service on our website or in cash since we are often in Alexandra Square. For more information please check the website!

About The Organization

The Vagina Monolancs

Activists and Lancaster University in the UK have been putting on The Vagina Monologues for the last 12 years! Last year we met Eve Ensler and this year we were determined to fundraise more than ever.

About The Organizer

Annabelle Blackburn

I first joined The Vagina Monologues in 2013 for One Billion Rising and the experience changed my life. I was chosen as Fundraising Director for the 2014 edition at Lancaster Uni and decided to really go for it and create a mass event to raise as many funds as we can, while raising awareness of these issues throughout.
I was born in France and had very little exposure to activism or feminism until attending university in the UK. Despite originally intending to finish my degree in History and heading off to become a teacher, I've now switched paths and am fully intent on continuing with my activism and using my skills to help wherever I can.
