Activists and Lancaster University in the UK have been putting on The Vagina Monologues for the last 12 years! Last year we met Eve Ensler and this year we were determined to fundraise more than ever.

I first joined The Vagina Monologues in 2013 for One Billion Rising and the experience changed my life. I was chosen as Fundraising Director for the 2014 edition at Lancaster Uni and decided to really go for it and create a mass event to raise as many funds as we can, while raising awareness of these issues throughout.
I was born in France and had very little exposure to activism or feminism until attending university in the UK. Despite originally intending to finish my degree in History and heading off to become a teacher, I've now switched paths and am fully intent on continuing with my activism and using my skills to help wherever I can.
