About The Event

Join us March 27th, 5:00pm - 7:30pm, at the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub, as the community speaks on this year’s prompt: “What will my community look like when violence against women and girls no longer exist?” This is the same question used in the 2003 V-Day College Campaign at UMass Lowell. This prompt yielded many insightful and thought provoking responses in 2003. We will be collecting and sharing past and modern responses to see the differences over the years. This prompt is open to cis women, trans women, feminine-presenting individuals, as well as non binary and gender non conforming individuals. This event is centered on women's experiences and we would love to foster an inclusive, empowering environment. Network with community members, be apart in the fight for awareness, and support women who need support now more than ever!
