About The Event
Love, Light & Lyrics is a series of small vocal performances that speak out against gender-based violence, as part of the One Billion Rising campaign. The event is curated by the non-profit organization, The Women Worldwide Initiative (TWWI), and seeks to engage the community on the topic of gender-based violence. A percentage of the proceeds benefit TWWI's Young Women Rock! Mentorship Program for women and girls in low-income communities in NYC.

The Women Worldwide Initiative
The Women Worldwide Initiative (TWWI) has the mission to empower women and girls to strengthen their own capacities as decision-makers.
TWWI's mentorship programs and small-scale international development projects are dedicated to poverty eradication through youth development, and social and economic empowerment of women and girls in low-income communities in New York City and developing countries.
