FEBRUARY 18th 5pm 407 East Main Street Port Jefferson. The Long Island Risers will march through Port Jefferson and flashmob in solidarity with others across the planet, who stand up against ALL forms of exploitation/abuse of females. We raise awareness of the many issues of violence both locally and worldwide. Our movement offers empowerment to those women involved, raises funds for a local domestic violence shelter, and gathers support for any current legislation which effects women and girls in the U.S. Weekly flashmob rehearsals Sunday nights 6:30 at Mt Sinai Congregational Church, 233 N. Country Road, Mt Sinai. ALL WELCOME!!
