An evening of empowerment through speech, dance, drums, and networking, Lake County Rising brings together women and the men who love them as we Rise to end violence against women. Dr. Ozella Barnes of A Safe Place is keynote speaker, students from Zion Middle School perform "Break the Chain", and Senator Melinda Bush, State's Attorney Michael Nerheim, and other dignitaries from throughout Lake County, Il will rise to speak out against violence
