Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Georgia started its activities in October 2006 with the support of European and local partners, and the Association of Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA). LDA Georgia’s mission is to strengthen local democracy and civil society, support democratic reforms in Georgia, and develop new and innovative approaches to local and national challenges by cooperating with local and international stakeholders. The organization also works on women's political engagement and social justice campaigns.
