Join us on Valentines, Friday 2/14/14 from 730-830pm for a JourneyDance exploration of setting your HEART and SOUL FREE...and RISING FOR JUSTICE as women and in community as we join the One Billion Rising movement! This regular Friday night 730-830pm class will transform itself and dedicate itself into an event celebrating and bringing awareness through dance of this empowering campaign. ****Please note that the Princeton Family YMCA is a membership organization, and requires membership to participate in its programs. Joy Okoye is a JourneyDance teacher. JourneyDance moves us through deep, personal exploration into a loving, intimate relationship with body, mind, and source energy. This sensual and exhilarating union of dance, visualization, and ritual becomes a tool to bring healing and self-empowerment to the participant. Joy's purpose on the dance floor is to invite others to listen to their hearts desires and their souls yearnings while letting the movements and MUSIC become the guide into that sacred realm. Joy's mission is to spread divine love and light while promoting a culture of self-compassion and BODY LOVE.
