About The Event

Tüm dünyada kadınlara karşı uygulanan şiddeti protesto etmek amacıyla düzenlenen “One Billion Rising”in bu yılki teması “Adalet”. Dünyanın farklı metropollerinde toplam 1 milyar kişinin katılması hedeflenen etkinlikte, kadına karşı şiddet dansla protesto edilecek. Dans ederken katılımcıların parmakları kadına şiddete karşı “adalet” istemek için gökyüzüne doğru yükselecek.

14 Şubat 2014 tarihinde tüm dünyada eş zamanlı olarak yapılacak olan bu etkinliğe İstanbul Kemerburgaz Üniversitesi de destek veriyor. İstanbul Kemerburgaz Üniversitesi’nin yüzlerce öğrencisi ve akademisyeninin parmakları adalet istemek için gökyüzüne doğru yükselecek ve kadına karşı şiddetin, dünya için en az açlık kadar dikkat edilmesi, önlem alınması gereken bir sorun olduğu hatırlatılacak.

İstanbul Kemerburgaz Üniversitesi’nin etkinlik için özel dans eğitimleri 03 Şubat 2014 Pazartesi günü öğrenci ve akademisyenlerle birlikte başlamıştır.

We dance for Justice

“One Billion Rising” organized every year to protest the violence against women all over the world is dancing this year on the theme of “Justice”. Targeting 1 billion participants from different metropolitans of the world, the violence against women will be protested by dancing. While dancing, the participants' fingers will rise to the sky to ask for Justice to the violence against women.

Istanbul Kemerburgaz University is also supporting this event which will be held on February 14th, 2014 at 14.00 all over the world. Hundreds of students, academics and administrative staff of Istanbul Kemerburgaz University will rise their fingers to the sky to ask for justice to the violence against women, and remind the world that violence against women is a very huge problem like hunger.
