Muitas mulheres adquirem uma deficiência em decorrência da violência doméstica. Aqui no Brasil temos uma lei especifica para a proteção das mulheres, a lei Maria da Penha, que sofreu várias agressões até o momento em que foi baleada. Sobreviveu! Hoje ela anda numa cadeira de rodas. O Instituto Entre Rodas tem como propósito construir um legado para que as futuras gerações de meninas e mulheres, com e sem deficiência, sem distinção de etnias, credo e adesão política, sejam livres de qualquer forma de violência. Venha para as ruas, juntas nos levantaremos para eliminar qualquer forma de violência.
Many women become disabled due to domestic violence. Here in Brazil we have a specific law for the protection of women, the Maria da Penha law, which suffered several assaults until the moment it was shot. Survived! Today she is in a wheelchair.
