About The Event
A student run, written, and staffed production which features a series of 20-25 monologues based upon the experiences of women and non-binary peoples on Tulane University's campus; these experiences range from those moments in which sexuality, race, religion, trauma, and humor combine to compose the unique identity of each person who walks by us in their daily life. The proceeds raised by ticket and merchandise sales will be donated, 100%, to a local New Orleans organization which seeks to fight sexual violence, either through preventative or rehabilitative methods. This will be the second year of the play, which was created in evolution of The Vagina Monologues as its predecessor, and seeks to open even further the lines of communication between the overarching community and folks of varied, yet equally pertinent gender experiences in an effort to leave no stone unturned or voice silenced.
About The Organization
