About The Organization

Second Sight (Second Site) Studio

Second Sight (Second Site) Studio is an alternative art space. Second Sight features work by local arts collectives, and curated shows of progressive and experimental work by artists from across the midwest.

About The Organizer

Mona Gazala

Mona Gazala is an installation artist and an arts advocate. Her personal vision: "I am interested in art, making art, facilitating and planning art exhibitions and happenings, and finding multiple ways in which art can energize people and communities." Gazala was the founder and original director of Cleveland West Art League, a 130-member artist coalition in Cleveland that helped to expand opportunites for artists to interact and to participate in the public art and gallery sphere. And she is now helping to pioneer the revival of the still-blighted Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus by encouraging artists and arts enthusiasts to flex their creative muscle here.
