About The Event
Please join us as we raise community awareness of global and local violence faced by women every day. We will be performing a flashmob in Old Town Square for the second year in a row and on Colorado State University campus. This is a small way to get involved; use the power of dance to communicate that violence is something we will no longer tolerate in our communities. If you are not able to attend on of the following rehearsals a link will be posted soon below so you can learn the dance on your own. We will be performing to Sara Bareilles's "Brave." We invite you to be a part of the One Billion Rising!
Rehearsals: Wednesday, January 29th @ 6 PM at Poudre High School -
Tuesday, February 4th @ 7PM at Fort Collins High School -
Thursday, February 13th @ 5 PM at the Grange off of Mulberry and Taft Hill Rd.

Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Center (SAVA)
SAVA is a nonprofit whose mission is to provide crisis intervention, advocacy and counseling for all those affected by sexual violence and provide prevention programs through community outreach and education. They offer a 24-hour rape crisis hotline, individual and group therapy, personal legal advocacy, communtiy educationa nd outreach, and prevention eeducation programming through activism theater and school groups.
