About The Event

Don your Red- on head, hip, thighs... Dance IN Freedom...Together we RISE! In honour of International Women's Day and Rising in Solidarity with Eve Ensler's One Billion Rising... we come together with our bodies, our freedom...because we CAN! Break the Chain will be played in the music mix and participants will be encouraged to end the session with a meditation and sending our hope, heart & gratitude around the planet in alignment with this theme.

About The Organizer

Julia Lyn Waters

Julia has been facilitating conscious dance events for the past 13 years. During that time she has participated in community performances of The Vagina Monologues as well as an off shoot female performance projects. She has a passion for sacred dance and the body as a vehicle and vessel for truth, expression & Self discovery. Julia invites you to explore your own limits & liberation on a monthly basis and hopes you will RISE UP and dance at this special event.
