Wartburg will rise globally with One Billion Rising for Justice on February 14th to incite action to end violence against women and girls. Beginning today, stop by the Registrar’s Office to add your fingerprint to a special painting where each fingerprint becomes a dandelion seed released in flight, empowered to rise for justice. Additional paintings are being created by the cast members of The Vagina Monologues and other campus groups. All paintings will be displayed on 2nd floor Luther Hall beginning February 14th to support the Wartburg College V-Day Campaign. The paintings will be available for purchase through the V-Day Silent Auction outside McCaskey Lyceum from February 18 – 25.
