About The Event
Join us for Circle Dancing (no experience needed), and dance to Break the Chain, the One Billion Rising song that unites us around the globe. We will also make Flags of Danger, Flags of Peace on red and white backgrounds, writing or drawing warning signs of unhealthy behavior and relationships on red, and safe, empowering tools, choices and patterns on white. Finger food provided. Most of the dancing will be upstairs and unfortunately there is no lift in this historic building, but the crafts and food will be in a downstairs space so all are welcome to participate - and we can dance to Break the Chain even sitting in chairs! Please check the websites listed for the possibility of last minute changes due to heavy snow we are expecting, but we hope to dance our way through the snow!

Safeline, SafeArt & Essential Arts Collaboration
We are a circle of sister organizations in Central Vermont who have come together to collaborate on this event that touches us all and speaks deeply to our missions to help, heal, empower and educate. While we primarily work with women, we welcome and appreciate the support and respectful participation of people of any gender identification and work for the safety and freedom of all.
