Bornheim rises again!
On 14th February, we will join other 18 towns and municipalities from the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg District in Siegburg, the district capital. We will meet at 3.00pm in front of the District Court building, where we will have drummers and music and proclamations of statements and political demands towards the district authorities. I will read Eve Ensler's latest Monologue "One Billion Rises for Justice", and then we will dance to a mix of the original song in English and the German version of "Break the Chain".
Within V-Day Bornheim 2014, I am also planning the following events:
- a charity fashion show called "The Good Body" - not à la Heidi Klum - my aim is to show that each one of us women is beautiful and ENOUGH as we are. Donations will go to the two Women's Shelter in Bonn and towards other charity events planned by V-Day Bornheim. The event is under auspices of the Mayor of Bornheim, who is also going to lead the auction of donated items. On Saturday, 22nd February, as of 4.00pm, at the AvH Gymnasium in Bornheim.
We are still looking for volunteers: women/girls to showcase the fashions, make-up artists, fashion stylists, hairstylists, and many helping hands backstage.

- benefit performances (two evenings) of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues in ENGLISH, planned for 4th and 5th April in BONN
