I am a psychologist working in San Francisco and Mill Valley. I have published two books of poetry, most recently :Reclaiming the Apple: Poems from Afghanistan," about my trip there with Global Exchange in 2010 for International Women's Day. I have worked with ritual and ceremony for many years, and taught courses on shamanism and cave art in France. I would be dancing with One Billion Rising again this year, but I broke my foot!
