The Berkeley City College Global Studies club is sending out an open invitation for both students and non-students alike to join us in solidarity as we celebrate One Billion Rising!
On February, Tuesday the 10th at 12:15 pm we will have a dance as well as an open mic/speak out on the topic of violence against women and domestic abuse. We invite you to come dance with us, to celebrate the progress that has made in the fight for justice for women, as well as to find the needed strength among our comrades to continue this fight.
About The Organization
BCC Global Studies Club
The Berkeley City College Global Studies Club is a group of students who are interested in and conscious of global events. We seek to educate the rest of our community by hosting events on campus, inviting speakers and holding speak out opportunities as well as having weekly presentations and discussions about problems and possible solutions. We are the student body that aspires to be socially active because we acknowledge our role in changing the society in which we live.
