3rd Annual Wrap Around the Capitol/1 Billion Rising Flash Mob

About The Event

At 2:00pm, we'll gather outside at the North Hamilton (NE) entrance of the Capitol Building in Madison for our 3rd Annual Wrap Around the Capitol. Here, Survivors and allies will encircle the capitol to show their support for survivors of sexual violence in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Afterwards, Dianne Brakarsh, an area 1BR activist, dancer and teacher, will lead us in a 1BR flash mob to conclude our day of events.

About The Organization

Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault

WCASA is a membership agency comprised of organizations and individuals working to end sexual violence in Wisconsin. Among these are the 49 sexual assault service provider (SASP) agencies throughout the state that offer support, advocacy and information to victims of sexual assault and their families.

WCASA works to ensure that every victim in Wisconsin gets the support and care they need. WCASA also works to create the social change necessary to ensure a future where no child, woman or man is ever sexually violated again.
