About The Event
Join us for our virtual launch as we honour missing & murdered Indigenous women & girls, survivors of domestic violence & exploitation, multicultural & interfaith cooperation, and resilience. This 1 hour program is a launch to our annual care package project. This year we will be creating 1100 packages for 24 shelters. Our volunteers will be assembling them in their homes in the safety of their bubbles.
About The Organization
1 Billion Rising Lower Mainland Initiative
We provide care packages to women and children in the Lower Mainland. As part of the One Billion Rising campaign to end violence against women, and the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week initiative to work together for the common good of all, we help these families on their journey through life's challenging times.
