About The Event
The 1 BILLION RISING public action is organized by Society Without Violence NGO and a group of activists in Armenia. We will have a mobile flash mob, in the center of Yerevan, where we walk and dance. We will disseminate Valentines postcards with messages for women to rise for their rights and to acknowledge that they are strong and free to break the silence and choose love instead of violence.
Around 30 young feminists will join the event.
