About The Event
The Multicultural Women's Group of Bury St Edmunds is planning its 6th OBR Rising, to be held on Saturday 15th February, 2020 - from midday to 1:00 pm at Charters Square, The Arc Shopping Centre, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
We will be wearing something red, raising awareness, supporting our local Women's Refuge and dancing Break The Chain.
Please come along to support us and this event. If you have any red or pink shoes, please bring them along. They will be placed on the pavement as a sort of installation - empty shoes representing the many women abused or killed through domestic violence.

Multicultural Women's Group, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK
We are a friendly group of women who have international connections. Some of us have come to live in the area from other parts of the world and others have lived and worked abroad.
We are a community group which aims to welcome, befriend and offer a social support network to people of all nationalities in and around Bury St Edmunds. We offer a forum to share information and expand our awareness of multiculturalism.
