About The Event

As a Women Empowering Women (WE) Event we're inviting all community organizations, individuals, and groups to join hands against exploitation of girls and women. We will speak-out, recite poetry, dance and release red, purple and pink balloons in solidarity. Come and learn about agencies who can assist those who need additional help in the Guilford County area. The event is FREE and family friendly. Come on now, let's dance! Learn how and groove to "Break the Chain", the choreographed dance by Debbie Allen for awareness in the fastest escalating global campaign. Move & Dance! will be taped and photographed in hopes to spread awareness to Billions! Be apart of something international! It is time for our community to come together and rise. We can't do this without you! Don't forget to RSVP and bring your dancing shoes! The event will include DJ, refreshments, and plenty of motivation. We can't wait to see you there!
