V-Day Humboldt is a local grassroots group of activists dedicating our time and energy to raise awareness and funds for local support groups for women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.

A local teacher and community member, Jessie worked with VDay Humboldt in 2013 to organize the first One Billion Rising event on the Arcata Plaza.
