Mbabazi Zakhia has MBA with specialization in Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Psychology, with a working experience of over 14 years in different capacities. Her areas of expertise are strategic management, women empowerment and customer experience management. She has a strong desire to see the most vulnerable mainly children and women reach their full purpose of life. Currently she is the Head of women projects at Governance for Africa and the Rwanda Coordinator for one Billion Rising Movement. She’s also the Founder and Legal representative of Gate of Wellbeing, a local NGO that empowers children and youth through education skills empowerment that enriches their life purpose, also empowers women to be the best versions of themselves through life skills training programs and help them start some income generating activities. Among her prior employers include Rwanda Development Board, REACH organization, Women for Women International, Imbuto Foundation and Population Services International now called Family Health International among others.
