About The Event
Please join us at The Polarity Barn to RISE UP and dance Nia with a loving intention of a vision for a safer world for women and girls, as well as men and boys and all gender identities/expressions. We will dance our guts, our grace, and our glory as we participate in the global event: One Billion Rising. Susan Tate will lead you in the dance. Come dance with us! No Nia experience is necessary.
This event is by donation and all proceeds will benefit the Sexual Assault Resource Agency in Charlottesville.

Susan Tate
SUSAN TATE is an author, black belt Nia teacher, and wellness visionary. A respected health educator for over forty-five years, Susan discovered Nia in 1997 while she was the Director of Health Promotion and assistant professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia. Susan teaches internationally and is passionate about creating a safer world for all. www.susantate.org
