The Association for the Rights of Children in Southeast Asia (ARCSEA) and the Salinlahi Alliance for Children’s Concerns conducted a RISING event on February 7 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Laboratory High School. The RISING was joined in by around 700 high school students together with their teachers and parents. Ms. Madella Santiago, ARCSEA Executive Director and Salinlahi Chairperson, explained the One Billion Rising Campaign and invited everyone in the audience to join the Main Rising event on February 14 in Mendiola and UP Diliman. Everyone danced their heart out and registered their solidarity in the this global campaign that aims to end violence against women and children and to call for justice. The PUP Laboratory High School joins the people of more than 200 countries who are RISING FOR JUSTICE!
