Changing Wave (formerly known as Lisbon V-Day) organised the second edition of One Billion Rising in Portugal on 14 February, 2014. This year they are organising this year’s One Billion Rising event in Lisbon. They are preparing a Portuguese version of the One Billion Rising Break the chain song – Portuguese music artists are being invited to sing a “We Are The World”, and they will record the song, create choreography and showcase it live on Women’s Day – March 8th 2017. People will dance, rise and strike! The event is being organised in partnership with the Municipality of Lisbon, civil society and celebrities from the world of music, cinema, sports, TV and radio.
